artists in motion and the Ancient Greek hoplite…

For our logo we have selected the helmet of the Ancient Greek hoplite. The hoplites were Ancient Greek warriors – lightly armed and quick on their feet and they fought in units, locking their shields together to protect everyone in the group and marching forward in formation against their adversaries. They were very successful in combat because they were quick, nimble and had excellent camaraderie and teamwork. We see ourselves as hoplites, banding together with other artist hoplites and, in working together, creating great programmes and negotiating the best commercial deals possible, in particular retaining the ownership of the programmes for those who most deserve it, the programme creators.
